What should I do if I receive an alert?

If you get an alert that your email was found on the dark web, don’t worry!

The email will contain basic information about the breach, for example the company involved and what data was exposed. The email will also have a link to talk to the AI Privacy Assistant for more info.

If you click on the link, the privacy assistant will answer your questions. The chatbot can explain what data was compromised and guide you through steps to secure your accounts, such as changing passwords or enabling additional security measures.
